NS 3415 and New Crossings on the Cement Secondary
Wednesdays H75 at Christian Spring Road and Stockertown Yard with NS 3415 Solo. MOW crews will be installing new LED Crossing Signals in Stockertown and Nazareth coming the next few weeks. H75 at Christian Spring Road with NS 3415 leading Solo. 3415 is a former Conrail EMD SD40-2 #6505 built-in 1979. Modern Siemens LED Crossing Signals at Bushkill Street in Stockertown, Pennsylvania inside the NS Stockertown Yard Limits. In Late January to Early February 2023 Maintenance of Way Crews have been installing new Siemens Signals and Gantries on Route 191 outside of Stockertown, S Green Street, S Main Street, and S Broad Street next to the Nazareth Diner in Nazareth, PA. It is unknown when these crossings will be finished and if any other crossings will be upgraded but it's nice to see new signal infrastructure as it lets us know Norfolk Southern still cares about the Cement Secondary.
